PhD Writing: Tips and Tricks!

3. Vision Boards and Journals: I used vision boards and journals to sort out my thoughts. It’s like a doodle session for your brain that makes writing clearer.
   
4. Paraphrasing Magic: To avoid the plagiarism trap, I turned to paraphrasing. When diving into the wisdom of great thinkers, I’d rephrase their ideas, keeping it fresh and genuine.
   
5. Folder Fiesta for Organization: I made separate folder for each chapter, and references I kept in separate files. Staying organized became my game-changer. Tools like Mendeley helped me lot, making reference organization a breeze.
   
6. Simultaneous Data and Writing: No waiting around! I collected data and wrote simultaneously. This way, my thesis journey stayed on a clear path without last-minute panics.
   
7. Self-Talk Sessions: I had deep chats with myself. I asked questions and answered them to untangle the complexities of my work.
   
8. Journey of Exploration: My ideas got boosted by traveling, chatting with people, and gathering responses. Different perspectives helped shape my theories.
   
9. Think, Write, Re-write: My writing mantra was simple – think, write, re-write. This cycle spun for four years. I learned never to assume my work was done; it was always evolving.
   
10. Intellectual Fitness: Keep your writing smart! Good time management and a step-by-step approach are your buddies. I attended workshops to align with PhD standards that skyrocketed my PhD journey.
